Law said out of the 114 applications received for grants, 48 have received approval from the ministry. These covered many community and social projects.
More than 20 booths were set up and comprised of recipients from DAGS to showcase their community web initiatives.

The idea for the DAGS club was mooted by the DAGS Secretariat, with support from the National IT Council. The DAGS Club primary aim and purpose is to gather all DAGS initiatives under one umbrella.

The DAGS Club is expected to be the perfect platform for members to exchange ideas and experiences which they have encountered to realise the various e-communities via the DAGS funding initiative.
